Shayla's pregnancy secret is finally revealed in front of Anthony. Shocked, Anthony stares at the test and asks, "What is this?" 😳🍼 Then, Anthony does something that leaves Shayla speechless! 😱💔
Anthony had returned home early after canceling an important meeting. As he walked through the front door, he noticed Shayla's purse sitting on the couch.
"Shayla?" he called.
No answer.
He walked toward the kitchen and noticed several grocery bags on the counter. As he began putting them away, something small slipped from one of the bags and landed on the floor.
Anthony bent down to pick it up.
His heart skipped a beat.
It was a positive pregnancy test.
He stared at it in disbelief.
"What...?"
His hands began to shake.
Just then, Shayla walked into the kitchen carrying another shopping bag.
The color drained from her face the moment she saw what Anthony was holding.
"No..." she whispered.
Anthony slowly turned toward her.
Holding up the pregnancy test, he asked in a trembling voice,
"What is this?"
Silence filled the room.
Shayla couldn't find the words.
Anthony's mind raced with questions.
"When were you going to tell me?"
"Is it true?"
"Why did you hide this from me?"
Tears welled in Shayla's eyes.
"I was scared."
Anthony took a deep breath.
"Scared of what?"
Shayla looked down at the floor.
"After everything we've been through... I didn't know how you'd react."
Anthony's expression remained unreadable.
"So you planned to keep it a secret?"
"I only wanted to wait until the doctor confirmed everything."
Anthony placed the test on the kitchen table.
For several long seconds, neither of them spoke.
Finally, Shayla gathered the courage to speak.
"I know what you're thinking."
Anthony looked at her.
"No..."
"You don't."
Shayla swallowed hard.
"I know our relationship hasn't been easy. We've argued, we've lost trust, and we've hurt each other. I thought this news would only make things worse."
Anthony slowly walked toward the window.
His back was turned to her.
Shayla's heart pounded.
She expected him to yell.
She expected him to walk away.
Instead...
Anthony quietly wiped a tear from his eye.
When he turned back around, his expression had completely changed.
He walked toward Shayla until they were standing face to face.
Without saying a word...
He gently took both of her hands.
Shayla looked up in surprise.
"I'm angry," Anthony admitted.
"But not because of this."
She blinked.
"I'm hurt because you felt like you had to carry this burden alone."
Fresh tears rolled down Shayla's cheeks.
Anthony continued softly,
"If this pregnancy is real, then you shouldn't have to face it by yourself."
Shayla covered her mouth as she began crying.
For the first time in months, Anthony pulled her into a warm hug.
She broke down completely.
"I thought you'd hate me."
Anthony shook his head.
"I hate the fear that made you hide it."
For a brief moment, everything seemed peaceful.
Then Anthony looked at the pregnancy test again.
A question crossed his mind.
He stepped back.
"When did you take this test?"
Shayla hesitated.
"Three days ago."
Anthony frowned.
"And... have you seen a doctor yet?"
She slowly shook her head.
"No."
Anthony picked up his car keys.
"Come on."
Shayla looked confused.
"Where are we going?"
Anthony smiled gently.
"To the hospital."
"You deserve real answers—not more fear."
An hour later, they sat nervously inside the doctor's office.
Neither of them spoke while waiting for the results.
The doctor finally entered with a folder.
Both Anthony and Shayla stood up.
The doctor smiled politely.
"The pregnancy test is positive."
Shayla let out a shaky breath.
Anthony squeezed her hand.
"But..." the doctor continued, "we'll need additional tests before we can answer the rest of your questions."
Anthony looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
The doctor glanced at the report.
"There are a few details we need to confirm before discussing the pregnancy further."
The room fell silent.
Shayla's smile faded.
Anthony's heart began racing again.
"What kind of details?"
The doctor closed the folder.
"I'm sorry... we'll explain everything after the next examination."
Anthony and Shayla exchanged worried glances.
As they left the hospital, neither of them noticed someone watching from the parking lot.
The mysterious figure lifted a phone and whispered,
"So... Anthony knows about the pregnancy."
A voice on the other end replied,
"Good."
"It's time he learns the rest of the truth."
The call ended.
Anthony looked at Shayla, determined to protect her no matter what lay ahead.
But neither of them knew that the next revelation would test their trust more than ever before.
