😱 When Brooke Tries a Pregnancy Test, the Result Will Shock You 💔

Brooke stood frozen in the middle of the pharmacy aisle, staring at the small pink box in her trembling hands. Around her, people casually pushed shopping carts past her as if the world were normal.

But her world no longer felt normal.

Not after the past few weeks.

The exhaustion.

The nausea.

The dizziness.

The constant headaches.

And worst of all… the fear.

She quickly looked around to make sure nobody recognized her before carrying the pregnancy test to the register. Her heart pounded harder with every step. She felt like everyone in the store somehow knew her secret already.

The cashier scanned the box without even looking up.

“That’ll be $14.99.”

Brooke fumbled with her wallet so badly she nearly dropped her card.

“You okay?” the cashier asked casually.

“Yeah,” Brooke lied quickly.

But she wasn’t okay.

Not even close.

The drive home felt endless.

Brooke kept glancing at the pregnancy test sitting in the passenger seat beside her like it was a ticking bomb. Every red light made her anxiety worse.

Her thoughts raced nonstop.

What if it’s positive?

What if my mom finds out?

What will Isaiah say?

What if my entire life changes tonight?

She gripped the steering wheel tighter.

“No,” she whispered to herself desperately. “There’s no way.”

But deep down… Brooke already knew there was a possibility.

And that possibility terrified her.

When she finally got home, the house was quiet.

Thank God.

Sharra wasn’t home yet.

Brooke hurried upstairs and locked herself inside the bathroom. Her breathing became shallow as she placed the box carefully on the sink counter.

For a long moment, she just stared at it.

She almost couldn’t bring herself to open it.

Her hands shook violently.

“This is crazy,” she whispered.

But the missed periods weren’t crazy.

The sickness wasn’t crazy.

And the fear in her chest definitely wasn’t crazy.

Slowly, Brooke opened the box.

Inside sat the test that could completely change her future.

Minutes later, Brooke sat on the closed toilet lid waiting for the results.

Those two minutes felt longer than her entire life.

She bounced her knee nervously while staring at the tiny window on the stick.

One line meant negative.

Two lines meant pregnant.

Simple.

Terrifyingly simple.

Brooke covered her mouth with her hand.

“Please,” she whispered. “Please don’t let this happen.”

Her eyes filled with tears before the result even appeared.

Because suddenly she realized something horrifying:

A part of her already knew.

The timer on her phone beeped softly.

Brooke slowly lifted the test.

And then her entire world stopped.

Two lines.

Bright.

Clear.

Impossible to ignore.

Positive.

Brooke stared at it in complete disbelief.

“No…”

Her voice cracked instantly.

“No no no no…”

The pregnancy test slipped from her shaking fingers and hit the bathroom floor.

Tears flooded her eyes immediately.

She backed against the wall like she couldn’t breathe.

“This can’t be happening…”

But it was happening.

The tiny plus sign on that test had just destroyed the version of life Brooke thought she was living.

Her hands covered her face as panic completely consumed her.

Pregnant.

She was pregnant.

A loud knock suddenly hit the front door downstairs.

Brooke jumped.

Sharra was home.

Brooke quickly wiped her tears, grabbed the pregnancy test from the floor, and shoved it back inside the box. Her heart raced so fast she thought she might faint.

“Brooke?” Sharra yelled from downstairs. “You home?”

“Yeah!” Brooke answered, trying desperately to sound normal.

But her voice betrayed her immediately.

Sharra paused downstairs.

“You sick again?”

Brooke closed her eyes.

“I’m just tired.”

Another lie.

Another secret.

Another crack in the life she was trying to hold together.

That night at dinner, Brooke barely touched her food.

Sharra noticed instantly.

“You’ve been acting weird for weeks.”

“I’m fine.”

“You’re pale.”

“I said I’m fine.”

Sharra narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

Brooke kept her head down, terrified that somehow her mother could already see the truth written all over her face.

Then suddenly the smell of the food made Brooke nauseous.

She pushed her chair back quickly.

“I’m gonna throw up.”

Before Sharra could respond, Brooke ran toward the bathroom.

The sound of vomiting echoed through the hallway.

Sharra followed immediately, concern replacing irritation.

“Brooke?”

Brooke locked the bathroom door.

“I’m okay!”

But outside the door, Sharra’s expression slowly changed.

Concern turned into suspicion.

And suspicion turned into fear.

Later that night, Brooke sat alone in her room staring at the pregnancy test again.

Positive.

Still positive.

Still real.

Her phone buzzed.

ISAIAH CALLING.

Brooke hesitated before answering.

“Hey…”

“You okay?” Isaiah asked immediately. “You’ve been ignoring me all day.”

Brooke’s voice trembled.

“I took a test.”

Silence.

“What kind of test?”

Brooke closed her eyes tightly.

“A pregnancy test.”

Another silence.

Longer this time.

Then finally:

“…And?”

Brooke’s breathing became uneven.

“It was positive.”

The silence after that felt deadly.

Isaiah didn’t speak.

Didn’t breathe.

Didn’t even react at first.

And somehow that hurt Brooke even more.

Finally, he whispered:

“Oh my God.”

Brooke started crying again.

“I don’t know what to do…”

Isaiah sounded panicked now.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes!”

“You could’ve taken it wrong—”

“It’s positive, Isaiah!”

Her voice cracked loudly.

Downstairs, Sharra looked upward after hearing Brooke yell.

Brooke lowered her voice again instantly.

“I’m scared.”

Isaiah ran his hand through his hair on the other end of the phone.

“This changes everything.”

Those four words broke Brooke completely.

Because suddenly this didn’t feel like a mistake anymore.

It felt real.

Dangerously real.

The next morning, Brooke barely slept.

Dark circles sat under her eyes as she stared blankly into the bathroom mirror.

She placed a hand over her stomach slowly.

Nothing looked different yet.

But everything felt different.

Her future.

Her dreams.

Her relationships.

Her entire identity.

One tiny test had changed all of it overnight.

Then suddenly—

BANG.

The bathroom door flew open.

Sharra stood there holding the pregnancy test box Brooke accidentally left under the sink.

Her face was pale with rage.

Brooke froze instantly.

The room became silent.

Dead silent.

Sharra held up the box slowly.

“What…”

Her voice shook with anger.

“…is this?”

Brooke felt all the blood drain from her face.

“Mom, I can explain—”

“ARE YOU PREGNANT?!”

The scream echoed through the entire house.

Brooke immediately burst into tears.

Sharra’s breathing became heavy as realization hit her fully.

“Oh my God…”

Brooke couldn’t even speak anymore.

She just cried.

And cried.

And cried.

Sharra turned away, overwhelmed with anger, disappointment, fear, and heartbreak all crashing into her at once.

“Tell me this isn’t real.”

Brooke’s silence answered everything.

Sharra slammed the box onto the counter.

“I warned you!”

Brooke shook her head desperately.

“I didn’t mean for this to happen!”

“But it DID happen!”

Brooke cried harder.

The bathroom suddenly felt too small for all the emotions exploding inside it.

Then Sharra asked the question Brooke feared most.

“Who’s the father?”

Brooke looked down instantly.

And that silence told Sharra everything she needed to know.

“Isaiah,” Sharra whispered angrily.

Brooke’s tears fell even faster.

Sharra laughed bitterly in disbelief.

“Unbelievable.”

But Brooke barely heard her anymore.

Because one terrifying thought kept repeating in her mind over and over:

What happens now
