BREAKING 🚨 Sharra Takes Brooke to the Doctor… And the Truth Changes Everything 💔
The rain poured heavily against the windshield as Sharra gripped the steering wheel tighter than necessary. The silence inside the car was unbearable. Brooke sat in the passenger seat staring out the window, pale and exhausted, her hands trembling slightly in her lap.
“You’ve been sick for two weeks,” Sharra snapped without looking at her. “Headaches. Throwing up. Sleeping all day. Either you’re hiding something… or something’s seriously wrong.”
Brooke swallowed hard.
“I told you, I’m probably just stressed.”
Sharra laughed bitterly.
“Stressed doesn’t make somebody faint in the kitchen.”
Brooke looked away again, her stomach twisting with anxiety. Deep down, she already knew what this appointment might reveal. But saying it out loud would make it real.
And Brooke wasn’t ready for reality.
The waiting room smelled like disinfectant and old magazines. Brooke sat quietly while Sharra paced back and forth like a storm ready to explode. Every few seconds, she crossed her arms, uncrossed them, then sighed loudly.
“You better pray this isn’t what I think it is,” Sharra muttered.
Brooke’s chest tightened.
“Can you please stop?”
“No. I can’t stop. Because I warned you about these boys. I warned you!”
A nurse finally stepped into the room.
“Brooke?”
Brooke slowly stood up.
Sharra followed immediately.
Inside the examination room, the doctor asked Brooke a few routine questions. When was her last period? Had she experienced nausea? Fatigue? Dizziness?
Each question felt heavier than the last.
Brooke answered quietly, barely able to maintain eye contact.
The doctor nodded slowly.
“We’re going to run a quick test.”
Those words made Brooke’s heartbeat pound in her ears.
Sharra leaned against the wall with crossed arms, already looking furious.
Minutes later, the doctor returned holding a clipboard.
The room suddenly felt too small.
Brooke stared at the floor.
Sharra stared directly at the doctor.
And then came the sentence that shattered everything.
“Brooke… your test came back positive. You’re pregnant.”
Silence.
Complete silence.
Brooke felt her breathing stop.
Sharra’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“No,” she whispered.
The doctor continued gently, “Based on the results, she’s likely around eight weeks along.”
Brooke’s hands instantly covered her face as tears filled her eyes. She wasn’t crying because she didn’t know.
She was crying because now everyone else knew too.
Sharra stepped back like she’d been physically hit.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“Mom—”
“WHO IS THE FATHER?” Sharra suddenly screamed.
The doctor looked uncomfortable.
Brooke immediately started crying harder.
“Please don’t yell…”
Sharra pointed at her angrily.
“Don’t tell me not to yell! You’re pregnant! You’re still a child!”
People outside the hallway turned toward the room after hearing the shouting.
Brooke’s voice cracked.
“I didn’t mean for this to happen…”
Sharra laughed coldly.
“That’s everybody’s excuse after they ruin their life.”
The words hit Brooke like knives.
The doctor tried calming the situation.
“This is obviously emotional news. Brooke needs support right now—”
“Support?” Sharra interrupted. “Do you know how hard I worked to keep her out of trouble? Do you know how many sacrifices I made?”
Brooke lowered her head in shame.
Tears rolled endlessly down her cheeks.
“I’m sorry…”
But Sharra wasn’t listening anymore.
She was furious.
Furious at Brooke.
Furious at the unknown father.
Furious at herself.
The drive home was even quieter than before.
Brooke kept staring down at the ultrasound appointment paper in her shaking hands.
Pregnant.
One word.
One terrifying word.
Finally, Sharra broke the silence.
“Is it Isaiah?”
Brooke froze.
Her silence answered the question immediately.
Sharra slammed her hand against the steering wheel.
“I KNEW IT.”
Brooke jumped.
“He said he loved me…” Brooke whispered weakly.
Sharra shook her head in disgust.
“And now look at you.”
That sentence shattered what little composure Brooke had left.
“I didn’t ask for this!” Brooke cried.
“But you made choices!” Sharra fired back instantly. “Choices have consequences!”
Brooke wiped her tears aggressively.
“You think I don’t know that?! I’m the one who’s pregnant!”
The car went silent again.
For a moment, even Sharra had nothing to say.
Because beneath all the anger… she could finally hear the fear in Brooke’s voice.
Real fear.
Not teenage drama.
Not attitude.
Fear.
Brooke stared out the window as the rain continued falling.
“What am I gonna do?” she whispered.
And for the first time that entire day, Sharra’s expression softened slightly.
Just slightly.
Because no matter how angry she was…
That was still her daughter.
Broken.
Terrified.
And carrying a future neither of them were prepared for.
Later that night, Brooke sat alone in her bedroom holding the positive pregnancy test in one hand and her phone in the other.
Isaiah’s contact name glowed on the screen.
She typed a message.
“We need to talk. My mom knows everything.”
Then another tear slid down her face.
Because deep down…
Brooke knew this was only the beginning of the chaos
