“We were just talking.”

“Talking?”

D’Nisha finally spoke.

D’Nisha started laughing.

“D’Nisha…”

She continued.

“We don't have to explain everything to everybody. But I'm not going to lie about how I feel.”

Wayne was stunned.

Wayne took a deep breath.

Then he said:

“I didn't expect tonight to turn into this.”

D’Nisha smiled.

“Neither did I.”
