The night started like any other, but nobody could have predicted the shocking scene that was about to unfold.

Anthony had been acting strangely for days. He was constantly checking his phone, stepping outside to take calls, and giving everyone the same excuse: “I’m handling some business.” But Honeypot had noticed something different.

She noticed that every time Shayla’s name appeared on Anthony’s phone, his entire attitude changed.

At first, Honeypot tried to ignore it. She didn't want to jump to conclusions or accuse anyone without proof. But then she received a message that completely changed everything.

“If you really want to know what Anthony and Shayla are doing, go to the old apartment tonight.”

Honeypot stared at the message for several seconds.

“Who sent this?” she whispered.

There was no answer.

Instead, another message arrived.

“Don't confront them until you see it for yourself.”

That was enough.

Later that evening, Honeypot quietly drove toward the apartment. She wasn't looking for a fight. She wanted answers.

When she arrived, she immediately noticed Anthony's vehicle parked outside.

Her heart dropped.

“Anthony?” she whispered.

Why would he be there?

Honeypot walked toward the building and noticed the lights were on upstairs. She stopped outside the door and heard voices.

One voice belonged to Anthony.

The other belonged to Shayla.

Honeypot couldn't believe it.

She slowly opened the door.

And there they were.

Anthony and Shayla were sitting together, having a serious conversation.

Anthony immediately stood up.

“Honeypot?! What are you doing here?”

Shayla's face went pale.

Honeypot looked from Anthony to Shayla.

“So THIS is the business you've been handling?”

Anthony tried to explain.

Honeypot laughed bitterly.

“That's exactly what people say when it looks exactly like what I'm thinking.”

Shayla quickly stepped in.

“Nothing happened between us!”

“Then why were you hiding this meeting?” Honeypot demanded.

Anthony couldn't answer.

For several seconds, the room became completely silent.

Then Honeypot noticed something sitting on the table—a folder with Anthony's name written across it.

She picked it up.

“What is this?”

Anthony immediately tried to take it from her.

“Don't open that.”

That made Honeypot even more suspicious.

She opened the folder.

Inside were documents, messages, and information about a plan Anthony and Shayla had apparently been discussing for weeks.

Honeypot's eyes widened.

“You've been planning this behind everyone's back?”

Anthony finally admitted that he had been keeping secrets—but insisted the situation wasn't romantic.

According to Anthony, Shayla had approached him because she knew something about a situation involving the family, and he had agreed to meet privately because he didn't want the information spreading.

But Honeypot wasn't convinced.

“You could have told me the truth,” she said, fighting back tears. “Instead, you made me feel crazy for asking questions.”

Anthony looked devastated.

“I was trying to protect everybody.”

“No,” Honeypot replied. “You were trying to protect yourself.”

Then Shayla finally revealed the biggest secret.

She hadn't brought Anthony there to start a relationship.

She had brought him there because she had discovered something about someone close to them—and she believed Anthony was the only person who could help expose it.

But there was one problem.

Someone had deliberately leaked the information to Honeypot to make her believe Anthony and Shayla were secretly involved.

Suddenly, the entire situation looked different.

Honeypot realized she might have been set up.

Anthony looked at her and said:

“Someone wanted you to catch us here.”

Honeypot froze.

“Who?”

Neither Anthony nor Shayla had an answer.

Then Honeypot's phone buzzed.

A new message appeared.

“Now you know enough. But you still don't know WHO planned the whole thing.”

Honeypot slowly looked up.

Anthony's phone began ringing at the exact same moment.

He checked the screen—and his expression completely changed.

The caller was someone none of them expected.

Honeypot stepped closer.

“Anthony… who is that?”

Anthony didn't answer.

The phone kept ringing.

Finally, he looked at Honeypot and said:

“If I answer this call, everything changes.”

Honeypot stared at him.

“Then answer it.”

Anthony pressed the button.
