The room was packed.
Everyone had gathered at Wayne's podcast studio after days of rumors, arguments, and unanswered questions surrounding Anthony, Amber, Shayla, and D'Nisha.
Nobody knew exactly why Anthony had asked everyone to come.
But the moment he walked through the doors, everyone could tell something was different.
He wasn't angry.
He wasn't nervous.
He looked determined.
Amber sat near the front of the room. She had been waiting for Anthony to finally explain himself after weeks of confusion.
Wayne, D'Nisha, Shayla, and several others were watching closely.
Amber finally broke the silence.
"Anthony, you said you needed to talk to me. So talk."
Anthony took a deep breath.
"I do."
He looked around the room.
"But I don't want to have this conversation privately."
Everyone became silent.
"I want everyone to hear this."
Amber's expression immediately changed.
"Why?"
"Because too many people have been speaking for me."
Anthony paused.
"And I'm done letting rumors tell my story."
THE QUESTION EVERYONE WAS WAITING FOR
Anthony walked toward the center of the room.
"Over the last few weeks, I've been accused of choosing sides."
He looked toward Shayla.
"I've been accused of abandoning people."
Then toward D'Nisha.
"I've been accused of hiding things."
Finally, he looked directly at Amber.
"And I've been accused of making promises I never intended to keep."
Amber stared at him.
"Are you saying those things aren't true?"
Anthony shook his head.
"I'm saying I made mistakes."
The room became completely silent.
"I've hurt people because I tried to keep everyone happy."
He swallowed hard.
"But that's impossible."
Amber stood up.
"So what is your decision?"
Anthony didn't answer immediately.
Amber's voice became emotional.
"I've waited long enough."
Anthony nodded.
"You're right."
He stepped closer.
"And that's why I'm finally going to tell you."
ANTHONY'S BIG DECISION
Anthony looked directly at Amber.
"My decision is..."
He paused.
"...I'm choosing peace."
Everyone looked confused.
Amber frowned.
"What does that mean?"
Anthony continued.
"It means I'm no longer going to let arguments, rumors, or other people's expectations control my life."
He looked around the room.
"I'm not choosing Amber over Shayla."
"I'm not choosing Shayla over D'Nisha."
"I'm not choosing D'Nisha over anyone."
He shook his head.
"I'm choosing to do what's right for myself and my family."
Amber's eyes filled with tears.
"So where does that leave me?"
Anthony looked at her.
"With the truth."
He pulled a folded document from his jacket.
Everyone immediately became curious.
Amber stared at it.
"What is that?"
Anthony placed it on the table.
"It's my final decision regarding the situation we've been fighting about."
Amber slowly walked toward the document.
Before she could pick it up, Anthony stopped her.
"Before you read it, I want you to hear this from me."
He looked emotional.
"I don't hate you."
Amber's eyes watered.
"I never did."
The room became incredibly quiet.
"But I can't continue the way we've been living."
Amber whispered,
"So you're ending it?"
Anthony nodded.
"I'm ending the cycle."
AMBER BREAKS DOWN
Amber covered her face.
For weeks, she had been waiting for Anthony to choose a side.
Instead, he had chosen something completely different.
She wiped away a tear.
"You could have told me this privately."
"I should have."
"Then why do it here?"
Anthony answered honestly.
"Because everyone was involved in the rumors."
He looked at everyone around the room.
"And everyone deserves to hear the truth at the same time."
Amber nodded slowly.
For once, she didn't argue.
Wayne stepped forward.
"Anthony, does this mean you're walking away from everything?"
Anthony shook his head.
"No."
He looked toward the podcast equipment.
"I'm still going to work."
"I'm still going to be there for Kai."
"I'm still going to support the people I care about."
"But I'm setting boundaries."
D'Nisha nodded quietly.
"That's probably what should have happened months ago."
Shayla agreed.
"Kai needs that."
Amber looked at Anthony one final time.
"So what exactly do you want from me?"
Anthony answered,
"Respect."
Amber nodded.
"And what are you giving me?"
"Respect."
She took a deep breath.
"Then maybe we can finally move forward."
Anthony smiled faintly.
"That's all I wanted."
But just when everyone thought the drama was finally over, Wayne's producer suddenly rushed into the room.
"Guys..."
Everyone turned.
"What now?" Wayne asked.
The producer held up a phone.
"You need to see this."
A video of Anthony's announcement had already been leaked online.
Thousands of comments were appearing.
But one comment caught everyone's attention.
It came from an account nobody recognized.
"Anthony is lying. I have proof of what really happened."
Amber's face went pale.
Shayla looked at D'Nisha.
D'Nisha looked at Anthony.
Anthony slowly took the phone.
"Who posted this?"
The producer shook his head.
"We don't know."
Anthony stared at the mysterious account.
Then another notification appeared.
A private message had arrived.
It contained only one sentence:
"If you really want the truth, meet me tonight."
Anthony's expression changed completely.
