Amber Destroys Kai’s Room in a Fit of Rage
😱 Amber Destroys Kai's Room in a Fit of Rage 💔 | Full Story (Fiction)
The house had never felt so tense.
For weeks, arguments had been building between Anthony, Amber, Shayla, and D'Nisha. Every conversation seemed to end in yelling, accusations, and slammed doors. Kai, caught in the middle of the adults' conflicts, had been spending more time away from home whenever he could.
One afternoon, Amber walked through the hallway and stopped outside Kai's bedroom.
She looked at the door, remembering the recent argument she'd had with Anthony.
"I can't believe this..." she whispered.
Earlier that day, Anthony had admitted he wanted Kai to have more space and had recently helped redecorate the room. Amber, already overwhelmed by months of family tension, took it as another sign that she was being ignored.
Her emotions got the better of her.
She pushed the bedroom door open.
The room was neat and freshly organized. New shelves lined one wall, family photos sat on the dresser, and a desk in the corner held Kai's school books and drawings.
Amber's breathing became heavier.
"So this is where all the attention has been going?" she muttered.
In a burst of anger, she swept a stack of empty storage boxes off a shelf. They tumbled onto the floor with a loud crash.
She grabbed a few decorative pillows and threw them across the room. A chair tipped over, and several framed photos fell from the dresser, their glass cracking as they hit the carpet.
Downstairs, Brooke heard the noise.
"What was that?" she asked.
Shayla looked toward the ceiling.
"It came from upstairs."
The two hurried up the stairs just as another loud thud echoed through the hallway.
Brooke pushed open the bedroom door.
"Amber! Stop!"
Amber stood in the middle of the room, breathing heavily. Clothes had been pulled from the closet and tossed across the bed, books lay scattered on the floor, and a lamp had been knocked onto its side.
Shayla's eyes widened.
"What are you doing?"
Amber's voice trembled.
"I'm tired of feeling like I don't matter!"
Brooke stepped closer but kept her voice calm.
"This isn't Kai's fault."
Amber looked around the room.
For the first time, she seemed to notice what she had done.
Just then, the front door opened downstairs.
Anthony had returned home with Kai.
Kai ran upstairs after hearing the commotion.
When he reached his bedroom, he froze.
His favorite photos were on the floor. His books were scattered everywhere, and the room he had worked so hard to keep organized was in complete disarray.
"Dad..." Kai whispered.
Anthony stared silently at the scene before turning to Amber.
"What happened here?"
Amber couldn't answer.
Her anger had already faded, replaced by regret.
"I... I wasn't thinking."
Kai slowly picked up a cracked picture frame. It held a photo of him, Anthony, and several family members from a happier time.
His voice shook.
"I didn't do anything to you."
The words hit everyone hard.
Amber covered her face with her hands.
"I'm so sorry, Kai."
Anthony remained calm despite his disappointment.
"Being angry with me doesn't give you the right to take it out on his room."
Tears rolled down Amber's face.
"I know."
Brooke placed a comforting hand on Kai's shoulder.
"Things can be cleaned up. What's important now is making this right."
Amber nodded immediately.
"I'll replace anything that's broken. I'll clean every inch of this room myself."
Kai stayed quiet for a moment before speaking.
"I don't care about the stuff."
Everyone looked at him.
"I just want us to stop fighting all the time."
The room fell silent.
Even Anthony lowered his head.
Shayla quietly wiped away a tear.
Without another word, everyone began picking up the scattered books, straightening the furniture, and collecting the broken frames.
Amber carefully folded Kai's clothes and placed them back in the closet. She apologized again and again as they worked together.
By evening, the room looked almost the same as before.
Anthony placed a hand on Kai's shoulder.
"We'll replace the broken frames this weekend."
Kai gave a small smile.
"Can we take a new family picture too?"
Amber looked at him with watery eyes.
"If you'd like... I'd love that."
Although the damage to the room could be repaired, the day served as a reminder that anger can hurt the people who have done nothing wrong. From that moment on, the family agreed to face their disagreements with conversation instead of letting frustration turn into destructive actions, hoping to rebuild trust one step at a time
