WHEN DOMINI FIND OUT ABOUT LESA AND MIKE

WHEN DOMINI FOUND OUT ABOUT LESA AND MIKE’S ROMANCE

The evening air was calm, but inside Domini’s heart, a storm was quietly building.

Domini had always believed that loyalty was the most important thing in friendship. For years, she and Lesa had been inseparable. They met in college, survived difficult times together, celebrated birthdays, cried over heartbreaks, and promised each other that nothing would ever come between them.

And yet… sometimes life has a way of breaking even the strongest promises.

At the center of everything stood Mike.

Mike was charming, confident, and had a smile that made people instantly trust him. Domini met him first at a small café gathering with friends. At the time, Lesa was there too, but neither of them paid much attention to him.

Or at least… that’s what Domini believed.

Months passed.

Domini and Mike slowly became close. They texted often, met for coffee, and spent long nights talking about dreams, work, and life. To Domini, it felt like the beginning of something real. Something meaningful.

She told Lesa everything.

Every message.

Every date.

Every tiny moment.

Lesa always listened quietly.

Sometimes she smiled.

Sometimes she looked away.

But Domini never noticed the small signs.

Until one night changed everything.

The First Suspicion

It started with something small.

Domini was scrolling through social media late at night when she noticed a photo Mike had posted. It was a picture of a rooftop restaurant view — city lights glowing behind a glass table.

The caption simply said:

"Perfect night."

At first Domini smiled.

But then something caught her attention.

Across the table… barely visible in the reflection of a window… was a woman’s silhouette.

Long hair.

A familiar jacket.

Domini leaned closer to the screen.

Her heart skipped.

It looked exactly like Lesa’s red and black jacket.

Domini shook her head.

“No… that’s impossible,” she whispered.

Lesa would never do that.

Right?

The Phone Call

The next morning, Domini called Lesa.

“Hey,” Domini said casually.

“Hey,” Lesa replied.

Domini tried to sound normal.

“So… what did you do last night?”

There was a pause.

“Aaah… nothing much,” Lesa said. “Just stayed home.”

Domini’s stomach tightened.

Stayed home?

Then whose reflection was that in Mike’s picture?

Domini didn’t say anything.

But a quiet seed of doubt had already been planted.

The Truth Begins to Appear

Days later, things became stranger.

Mike started acting distant.

His replies were shorter.

His calls became rare.

And every time Domini mentioned meeting up, he said he was busy.

Work.

Family.

Meetings.

Excuses.

But one afternoon, fate decided Domini deserved the truth.

She was walking downtown when she passed a small outdoor restaurant.

And then…

She froze.

At a corner table sat Mike.

Across from him sat Lesa.

They were laughing.

Leaning close.

Their hands almost touching.

For a moment, Domini couldn't breathe.

The world felt like it had suddenly gone silent.

Cars moved.

People talked.

But all Domini could hear was the sound of her own heart breaking.

The Confrontation

Domini didn’t run.

She didn’t hide.

She walked straight toward them.

Mike looked up first.

His smile disappeared instantly.

Lesa turned slowly.

Her face turned pale.

“Domini…” Lesa whispered.

The silence at the table was suffocating.

Domini looked from Mike… to Lesa.

Her voice was calm.

Too calm.

“How long?”

Neither of them answered.

Domini repeated the question.

“How. Long.”

Mike opened his mouth.

But Lesa spoke first.

“Three months.”

The words hit Domini like a knife.

Three months.

Three months of lies.

Three months of secrets.

Three months of telling Domini fake stories while secretly dating the same man.

Domini’s eyes filled with tears, but she refused to cry.

Instead, she laughed.

A painful, broken laugh.

“You listened to me talk about him every single day,” Domini said to Lesa.

Lesa looked down.

“I was going to tell you…”

“When?” Domini snapped. “At the wedding?”

Mike stood up.

“Domini, listen—”

“Don't,” she said sharply.

Her voice shook now.

“You both lied to me.”

She looked at Lesa again.

“You weren’t just my friend. You were my sister.”

Lesa’s eyes filled with guilt.

“I didn’t mean for it to happen…”

“But it did,” Domini replied.

The Breaking Point

The tension exploded.

Lesa stood up too.

“Domini please, we didn’t plan this.”

Domini’s anger finally burst out.

“You didn’t plan it?!”

Her voice echoed across the restaurant.

“You sat there listening to me fall in love with him while you were already with him!”

People around them began staring.

But Domini didn’t care anymore.

The betrayal cut too deep.

She looked at Mike.

“You could have told me.”

Mike tried to explain.

“I didn’t want to hurt you.”

Domini shook her head slowly.

“You already did.”

Aftermath

That night, Domini walked alone through the quiet streets.

Her mind replayed every moment she had shared with Lesa.

Every laugh.

Every secret.

Every promise.

All of it now felt like a lie.

Meanwhile, Lesa sat in her apartment staring at her phone, knowing she had destroyed the most important friendship of her life.

And Mike…

Mike realized too late that the romance he thought was exciting had created a disaster he could never fix.

But the story wasn’t over.

Because sometimes betrayal leads to something even bigger.

Revenge.

Regret.

Or redemption.

And Domini was about to decide which path she would take.

But one thing was certain…

The next time Domini saw Lesa again…

Nothing would ever be the same.
