OMG! Bethany Says Final Goodbye to Brooke… But Where Is She Going?! Her Answer Will SHOCK You

😱 OMG! Bethany Says Final Goodbye to Brooke… But Where Is She Going?! Her Answer Will SHOCK You

Long Story

The sun was setting when Bethany pulled into Brooke’s driveway. The sky was orange and purple, the kind of evening that usually felt peaceful — but not today. Today, Bethany’s hands were shaking on the steering wheel.

She sat in the car for almost two minutes before getting out. She looked tired, like someone who hadn’t slept in days. Her eyes were red, and there was a small suitcase in the back seat.

This wasn’t a normal visit.

This was a goodbye.

Bethany walked to the door and knocked. A few seconds later, Brooke opened it.

“Bethany? Are you okay?” Brooke asked immediately. “You look… what’s wrong?”

Bethany tried to smile, but it didn’t work.

“Can I come in?” she asked quietly.

Brooke moved aside. “Of course.”

They walked into the living room and sat down. Brooke could tell something was very wrong.

“Bethany, you’re scaring me. What’s going on? Is this about Larry? The divorce? Lynette? The court case? What happened?”

Bethany looked down at her hands and said softly:

“I came to say goodbye.”

Brooke froze.
“Goodbye? What do you mean goodbye? Where are you going?”

Bethany didn’t answer immediately. She just looked around the house like she was memorizing everything.

“I think I ruined everything, Brooke,” she finally said.
“My marriage, my family, my life… everything turned into courtrooms, police stations, fights, lies… I don’t even recognize my life anymore.”

Brooke moved closer to her.
“You didn’t ruin everything. Things just got out of control.”

Bethany shook her head slowly.
“No. I made choices. And every choice had a price. Lynette went to jail. Larry divorced me. Jaden hates me. People think I’m a monster now.”

“That’s not true,” Brooke said. “You were protecting yourself.”

Bethany looked at her with sad eyes.
“But in the end… I lost everything anyway.”

The Suitcase

Brooke then noticed the suitcase near the door.

She pointed at it.
“Bethany… why do you have a suitcase?”

Bethany followed her eyes and then looked back at Brooke.

“Because I’m leaving tonight.”

Brooke stood up immediately.
“Leaving? Leaving where? For how long?”

Bethany took a deep breath.

“I sold the house.”

Brooke’s eyes widened.
“You WHAT?!”

“I sold the house, I quit my job, and I closed my accounts here,” Bethany said calmly. “There’s nothing left for me here anymore.”

Brooke couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“Bethany, you can’t just disappear! Where are you going?”

Bethany looked at her for a long moment.

Then she said quietly:

“I’m moving to another country.”

Brooke felt like the floor disappeared under her feet.

“Another country? Bethany, are you serious? Where?”

Bethany hesitated for a second.

Then she said the words that shocked Brooke completely.

“Puerto Rico.”

Brooke stared at her.
“Puerto Rico? Why Puerto Rico?”

Bethany looked out the window and said softly:

“Because that’s the only place where nobody knows me. No Larry. No Lynette. No court cases. No Miami stories. No past. I want to start over where nobody knows my name.”

The Real Reason

Brooke sat down slowly.
“You’re not just running away, are you?”

Bethany didn’t answer.

Brooke grabbed her hand.
“Tell me the truth. Why are you really leaving?”

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears.

“I’m tired, Brooke,” she whispered.
“I’m tired of fighting. Tired of proving I’m not the bad guy. Tired of losing people. Tired of waking up every day and feeling like my life is a courtroom.”

A tear rolled down her face.

“I loved Larry. I really did. But everything became about Lynette, court, Miami, money, lies… We stopped being a couple a long time ago. We were just two people fighting the same war from different sides.”

Brooke hugged her.

“So this is it?” Brooke asked softly. “You’re really leaving tonight?”

Bethany nodded.

“My flight is in three hours.”

Brooke pulled back and looked at her.

“Does Larry know?”

Bethany shook her head.

“No. And I don’t think he needs to.”

The Goodbye

They walked to the door slowly. The suitcase was waiting.

Brooke hugged Bethany tightly and started crying.

“I’m going to miss you,” Brooke said.

Bethany hugged her back.

“I’m not running away,” Bethany said quietly.
“I’m just starting over.”

Brooke looked at her and asked one last question:

“Bethany… what if Larry calls you one day and asks you to come back?”

Bethany picked up her suitcase and walked to the door.

She stopped, turned around, and said something Brooke would never forget.

“If Larry wanted me, he would have chosen me when I was still there.”

Then she opened the door and walked out.

Brooke stood in the doorway watching Bethany put the suitcase in the car and drive away as the sun disappeared.

And as the car turned the corner and disappeared from sight, Brooke whispered to herself:

“I think this is the last time I’ll ever see Bethany.” 😢
