Lynette Arrested… Larry Ends His Marriage After Bethany’s Secret Move 😱💔

Long Story

The morning everything fell apart started like any other morning. Larry was in the kitchen making coffee when his phone started ringing again and again. He ignored the first call, then the second. But when the phone kept ringing, he picked it up.

It was Jaden.

“Dad…” Jaden’s voice was shaking. “They arrested Mom. The police took her this morning.”

Larry froze.
“What? What are you talking about?”

“They came to the house… they had papers… they said there was a case… Mom tried to argue but they put handcuffs on her and took her away.”

Larry felt his chest tighten.
“Where is she now?”

“In the county jail.”

Larry slowly sat down in the chair. His mind was racing.

“Who filed the case?” Larry asked quietly, already knowing the answer.

There was silence on the phone for a few seconds.

Then Jaden said:
“Bethany.”

Larry Confronts Bethany

That evening, Larry walked into the house and Bethany was sitting on the couch like nothing had happened, scrolling on her phone.

Larry stood in front of her.
“You had Lynette arrested?”

Bethany looked up slowly, calm and cold.
“I didn’t have her arrested. I filed a case. The police arrested her.”

Larry couldn’t believe how calm she was.

“You could’ve talked to me first,” he said angrily.
“This has gone too far, Bethany. Jail? Really?”

Bethany stood up now.
“Too far? You want to talk about too far? Miami was too far. The lies were too far. The money that disappeared was too far. The property papers that were changed were too far.”

Larry frowned.
“What are you talking about?”

Bethany walked to the table and picked up a file. She threw it in front of him.

“Open it.”

Larry opened the file and inside were bank statements, property documents, printed messages, and photos.

His face slowly changed as he looked through the papers.

“Bethany… where did you get all this?”

She crossed her arms.
“I’ve been collecting this for months.”

Larry looked up at her, shocked.
“Months? You were planning this?”

“I wasn’t planning to destroy anyone,” she said. “I was planning to protect myself.”

The Secret Move

Larry kept flipping through the papers.

Transfers.
Signatures.
Agreements.
And then… Miami.

There were hotel receipts, flight bookings, and a printed photo of Lynette meeting someone in Miami.

Larry looked confused.
“I never went to Miami with Lynette.”

“I know,” Bethany said quietly. “That’s the point.”

Larry looked at her, not understanding.

Bethany took a deep breath.
“Lynette told people you were in Miami with her. She used your name for business deals, for money transfers, for property discussions. She made it look like you were involved in everything.”

Larry’s stomach dropped.

“She used my name…?”

Bethany nodded.
“And when I found out, I started collecting proof. I talked to lawyers. I checked bank records. I waited until I had everything.”

Larry sat down slowly.

“So the arrest… the case… all of this… you planned it?”

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears for the first time.

“I didn’t plan to hurt you. I planned to protect myself because nobody else was going to.”

The Breaking Point

Larry sat there for a long time, silent.

Finally he said quietly,
“You should’ve told me.”

Bethany laughed sadly.
“Every time I tried to talk to you about Lynette, you defended her. Every time. So I stopped talking.”

Larry didn’t respond.

Bethany continued,
“I was fighting alone, Larry. Against your ex, against the lies, against the money issues, against the Miami story… and you were never on my side.”

That sentence hit Larry harder than anything else.

He looked down at the papers again, then back at Bethany.

“So this is it?” he asked quietly.
“You send Lynette to jail, destroy everything, and now what?”

Bethany wiped a tear from her face.
“Now I finally have peace.”

Larry stood up slowly.

“No,” he said. “Now everything is destroyed.”

Bethany looked at him, confused.
“What do you mean?”

Larry looked at her with tired eyes and said the words she never expected to hear.

“I want a divorce, Bethany.”

Her face went completely pale.

“What…?”

“I can’t live like this,” Larry said.
“Secrets, court cases, arrests, lies… This isn’t a marriage anymore. This is a war.”

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears again.

“I did all this for us,” she whispered.

Larry shook his head slowly.
“No. You did all this without me.”

The End of the Marriage

A few weeks later, Larry and Bethany were sitting in a lawyer’s office signing divorce papers.

Neither of them looked at each other.

Years of love, fights, memories, trips, laughter… all ended with signatures on paper.

As Bethany signed her name, a tear fell onto the document.

Larry signed his name quietly and pushed the papers back to the lawyer.

And just like that, it was over.

As they stood up to leave, Bethany finally spoke:

“Was there ever a moment where you would have chosen me first?”

Larry stopped walking but didn’t turn around.

After a long silence, he said quietly:

“I didn’t choose anyone. That was the problem.”

He walked out of the office.

Bethany stood there alone, realizing that her secret move had put Lynette in jail…

But it had also ended her marriage forever. 💔
