7 . YAYA QUESTIONS WAYNE — “WILL YOU BETRAY ME LIKE YOU BETRAYED THE OTHERS?” THE SHOCKING TRUTH IS YET TO COME

The room was quiet, lit only by the warm glow of the corner lamp, but the tension was thick enough to choke on.

Yaya stood near the center of the floor, arms crossed tight against her chest. Her eyes were locked onto Wayne, searching his face for any flicker of deceit, any sign of the smooth-talking game he usually played.

Wayne sat back on the edge of the sofa, leaning forward slightly with his hands resting on his knees. The usual playful smirk was completely gone from his face.

The Confrontation

"Look at me, Wayne," Yaya said, her voice dropping into a dangerous, steady calm. "Don't look at the floor. Look at me."

Wayne raised his head slowly, meeting her eyes. "Yaya, you know how things go around here. People talk, stories get twisted—"

"I’m not asking about what people say, Wayne!" Yaya cut him off, stepping closer until she was standing directly over him. "I’m asking you. I watched what you did to Dave. I saw how you handed Anthony over when things got hot, and then acted like you were just protecting the household."

She took a slow, deep breath, her eyes brimming with a mix of anger and genuine hurt.

"So answer me straight," Yaya demanded, her voice trembling slightly. "Will you betray me like you betrayed the others?"

Wayne’s Calculated Response

The room fell dead silent. Dave and Anthony were standing near the hallway archway, listening in, barely daring to breathe.

Wayne slowly stood up, smoothing down his jacket. He didn't flinch. Instead, a cold, unreadable expression washed over his face.

"Yaya... you think you know the whole story about what happened with Dave and Anthony," Wayne said softly, taking a step closer to her. "You think I threw them to the wolves because it was easy."

"Didn't you?" Yaya countered, standing her ground.

Wayne leaned in, lowering his voice so only she could hear, though the room was so quiet every word echoed.

"I didn't betray them, Yaya," Wayne whispered, a chilling look in his eyes. "I gave them exactly what they asked for. But you? You're asking the wrong question."

The Shocking Truth Begins to Surface

Yaya frowned, stepping back slightly. "What are you talking about?"

Wayne reached into his inner pocket, pulling out a folded document with official red sealing stamp on the corner—the very paper Dave and Anthony had been desperately searching for over the last three weeks.

"You think I’m playing both sides," Wayne said, his grin slowly returning, but with zero warmth behind it. "What you don't know... is that the person who handed me this paper, the person who set this entire house up from day one... wasn't me."

Yaya’s breath caught in her throat as Wayne placed the document gently into her hands.

"Open it," Wayne murmured. "And see whose name is signed at the bottom. Then ask me who’s really betraying who."

Yaya looked down at the paper, her hands shaking as she unfolded it, while Dave and Anthony stepped into the room with wide eyes, completely unaware of the storm that was about to break
