Wayne thought he could handle everything.

He had dealt with arguments, relationship problems, business disagreements, podcast drama, and secrets that seemed to follow him everywhere.

But this time was different.

This time, four women who had once supported him were all furious at the same time.

And Wayne had no idea just how serious the situation was about to become.

It started when Honey Pot discovered something that Wayne had been keeping from everyone.

She walked into the room holding her phone.

“Wayne, we need to talk.”

Wayne immediately noticed the anger on her face.

“What happened?”

Honey Pot held up her phone.

“You tell me.”

Wayne looked at the screen.

“What is this?”

Wayne tried to explain, but Honey Pot wasn't interested.

“You told me one thing, Wayne. Then I found out you were telling Amber something completely different.”

Wayne sighed.

“It wasn't like that.”

Honey Pot shook her head.

“That's what you always say.”

Before Wayne could respond, Amber walked through the door.

And she wasn't happy either.

“Good. I'm glad we're all here.”

Wayne looked at her.

“Amber, what's going on?”

Amber crossed her arms.

“You really want to know?”

Wayne nodded.

Amber pulled out her phone.

“I found out about the conversation you had behind my back.”

Wayne immediately became defensive.

“That conversation wasn't what you think.”

Honey Pot interrupted.

“That's exactly what he said to me.”

Amber looked at Honey Pot.

“So he told you the same thing?”

Honey Pot nodded.

“Exactly.”

Amber shook her head.

“I can't believe this.”

Wayne realized that the situation was getting out of control.

But then the door opened again.

Lauren walked in.

She looked at Wayne.

Then she looked at Amber and Honey Pot.

“What happened?”

Amber replied:

“Wayne.”

Lauren's expression immediately changed.

“Of course.”

Wayne looked frustrated.

“Why is everybody blaming me?”

Lauren stepped closer.

“Because we've all heard different stories from you.”

Wayne tried to defend himself.

“I was trying to protect everybody.”

Lauren shook her head.

“You don't protect people by keeping secrets from them.”

Wayne went silent.

Then another person arrived.

Shyla.

The moment Shyla saw everyone standing together, she knew something serious had happened.

“What did I miss?”

Amber looked at her.

“Wayne has been hiding things from all of us.”

Shyla turned toward Wayne.

“Is that true?”

Wayne didn't answer immediately.

That silence was enough.

Shyla's expression hardened.

“Wow.”

Wayne finally said:

“Listen, I can explain.”

Shyla interrupted him.

“No. We've heard enough explanations.”

For the first time, Wayne realized that he was completely surrounded.

Honey Pot was angry.

Amber was furious.

Lauren felt betrayed.

And Shyla had completely lost her patience.

Wayne took a step backward.

“Everybody, calm down.”

Honey Pot laughed bitterly.

“Calm down? You expect us to calm down after everything we've just discovered?”

Amber added:

“You've been making decisions that affect all of us without telling anyone.”

Lauren looked at Wayne.

“And now you're acting like we're the problem.”

Wayne shook his head.

“That's not what I'm saying.”

Shyla pointed toward the door.

“Then start telling the truth.”

Wayne looked at all four women.

He knew he couldn't keep avoiding the conversation.

Finally, he admitted that he had been trying to handle several situations at once and had made some decisions without telling everyone because he thought he could fix everything before anyone found out.

But his plan had backfired.

Honey Pot asked:

“So you admit you were hiding things?”

Wayne nodded.

“Yes.”

Amber immediately responded:

“Then why should we trust you?”

Wayne had no answer.

The room became completely silent.

Then Lauren said something that shocked everyone.

“I think we should walk away.”

Wayne looked at her.

“What?”

Lauren turned toward Honey Pot, Amber, and Shyla.

“We keep giving Wayne chances. Maybe it's time we stop.”

Honey Pot nodded.

“I agree.”

Amber nodded too.

Shyla looked at Wayne.

“So do I.”

Wayne's face dropped.

“All four of you?”

Nobody answered.

That was the answer.

Wayne suddenly realized that he had never felt so alone.

But then his phone rang.

He looked at the screen.

It was an important call.

Wayne answered.

“Hello?”

The voice on the other end said something that immediately changed his expression.

“What?”

Everyone watched him.

Wayne slowly lowered the phone.

Amber asked:

“What happened?”

Wayne looked at them.

“There’s another problem.”

Honey Pot sighed.

“Of course there is.”

Wayne explained that something had happened behind the scenes that could potentially affect his podcast and several of his business plans.

Lauren shook her head.

“This is exactly why we're angry. You keep trying to handle everything yourself.”

Shyla stepped forward.

“Wayne, this isn't just about one mistake anymore.”

Wayne looked at her.

“Then what is it about?”

Shyla answered:

“Trust.”

Those words hit Wayne harder than anything else.

For years, Wayne had believed he could fix every problem with enough effort.

But now he was discovering something different.

Sometimes the damage wasn't caused by the original mistake.

Sometimes it was caused by hiding the mistake until nobody trusted you anymore.

Wayne looked at Honey Pot.

Then Amber.

Finally, he looked at Shyla.

Honey Pot responded:

“Then prove it.”

Amber added:

“Stop talking.”

Lauren said:

“Start being honest.”

And Shyla delivered the final warning:

“Because if you lie to us one more time, we're done.”

Wayne nodded slowly.

For once, he didn't argue.

He simply said:

“Okay.”

But as the four women walked away, Wayne remained standing alone.

He had managed to survive arguments before.

He had survived business problems.

He had survived relationship drama.

Wayne stared at the screen.
