BREAKING NEWS! Dutchess Takes Destiny Away as Brooke Tearfully Begs Her to Stay!
The house was unusually quiet that morning.
Brooke stood in the kitchen making Destiny's favorite breakfast, hoping to cheer her up after a difficult week.
Larry walked in with a smile.
"She'll love those pancakes."
Before Brooke could answer, the sound of a car stopping outside interrupted the peaceful morning.
They looked through the window.
A black SUV had pulled into the driveway.
The driver's door opened.
Dutchess stepped out, carrying a small folder in her hand.
Brooke immediately felt her heart sink.
"What is she doing here?"
An Unexpected Visit
Dutchess calmly walked to the front door and knocked.
Brooke opened it.
"Dutchess?"
"We need to talk."
Larry invited her inside.
The atmosphere instantly became tense.
Dutchess looked at Destiny, who had just walked into the living room.
"Hi, sweetheart."
Destiny smiled politely but could sense something serious was happening.
Brooke folded her arms.
"What's going on?"
Dutchess took a deep breath.
"I've come to take Destiny with me for a while."
The room fell silent.
Brooke's Heartbreak
"What?" Brooke whispered.
Dutchess explained that Destiny had recently been under a great deal of stress and had asked for a temporary change of environment.
"I think some time away might help her clear her mind," Dutchess said.
Brooke looked at Destiny.
"You never told me you felt this way."
Destiny lowered her eyes.
"I didn't want to hurt you."
Tears filled Brooke's eyes.
"Hurt me?"
"You're everything to me."
Larry Tries to Help
Larry stepped between them.
"Let's slow down."
He turned to Destiny.
"Is this what you want?"
Destiny hesitated.
"I... I just need some time to think."
Brooke's voice trembled.
"Whatever you're going through, we'll face it together."
"You don't have to leave."
Destiny looked torn.
"I know."
"But I feel overwhelmed."
The Emotional Goodbye
Destiny slowly picked up a small travel bag she had packed the night before.
Brooke couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"So... you were really planning this?"
Destiny nodded with tears in her eyes.
"I didn't know how to tell you."
Brooke hugged her tightly.
"Please don't go."
"I promise we'll fix whatever's wrong."
Destiny cried in Brooke's arms.
"I love you."
"I just need a little space."
Dutchess Explains
Seeing Brooke's heartbreak, Dutchess gently spoke.
"I'm not trying to take Destiny away forever."
"This isn't about separating families."
"It's about giving her a chance to rest and regain her confidence."
She continued,
"When someone says they're overwhelmed, sometimes the most loving thing we can do is listen."
Brooke wiped away her tears.
"I just wish she'd talked to me first."
A Promise Before Leaving
As Destiny walked toward the SUV, she turned around one last time.
She ran back and hugged Brooke again.
"This isn't goodbye."
"I'll call you every day."
Brooke smiled through her tears.
"You better."
Larry placed a reassuring hand on Brooke's shoulder.
"We'll get through this."
Destiny climbed into the SUV.
As it slowly drove away, Brooke stood in the driveway watching until it disappeared around the corner.
An Unexpected Phone Call
Three days later, Brooke's phone rang.
It was Destiny.
"Hi."
Brooke smiled instantly.
"How are you?"
"I'm doing better."
Destiny explained that the quiet change of scenery had helped her reflect and rest.
"I miss you."
Brooke laughed softly.
"I miss you too."
"When are you coming home?"
"Soon."
A Joyful Reunion
A week later, the familiar black SUV pulled back into the driveway.
This time, Destiny stepped out smiling.
Brooke rushed outside without saying a word.
The two embraced tightly.
"I told you I'd come back," Destiny whispered.
Brooke nodded, tears streaming down her face.
"I'll never take a single day with you for granted again."
Dutchess smiled as she watched from a distance.
Sometimes, a little time apart doesn't break a family.
Sometimes, it reminds everyone just how strong their love really is.
