π± Jaden Calls Larry — “They Arrested My Mom!” … And Larry Explodes at Bethany π⚖️
The night felt heavier than usual when
Larry
was sitting in his car outside the house, staring blankly at the steering wheel. Too many things had been happening all at once — arguments, court papers, the Miami rumors, and the growing distance between him and
Bethany.
He took a deep breath.
Then his phone rang.
He looked down.
Jaden Calling.
Jaden
Something didn’t feel right.
Larry answered immediately.
“Jaden? What’s going on?”
On the other side, Jaden’s voice was shaking.
“Larry… they arrested my mom,” he said.
Larry’s heart dropped.
“What do you mean arrested?” Larry asked.
“They took her to the station… and now they put her in jail,” Jaden said, almost crying.
“They said it’s because of the complaint… they said Bethany filed it.”
Larry gripped the phone tightly.
“Where are you right now?” Larry asked.
“At home… I don’t know what to do,” Jaden said.
“Stay there. I’m coming,” Larry said firmly and hung up.
π The Drive — Anger Building
As Larry drove through the dark streets, his mind was racing.
Police. Jail. Complaint. Bethany.
This wasn’t just a misunderstanding anymore.
This wasn’t just a family argument anymore.
This had crossed a line.
“A jail?” Larry muttered to himself.
“She actually let it go this far?”
His grip on the steering wheel tightened.
π At Jaden’s House
When Larry arrived, Jaden opened the door immediately. His eyes were red, and he looked completely lost.
“They didn’t even let me talk to her properly,” Jaden said.
“They just said she’ll have to stay there until further questioning tomorrow.”
Larry walked inside slowly.
“Did they tell you anything else?” Larry asked.
“They said it’s about documents, money, and property… and that there’s an official case now,” Jaden replied.
Larry sat down and looked at the floor.
This was serious.
Very serious.
Jaden looked at him.
“Why would Bethany do this?” he asked.
Larry didn’t answer right away.
Because he knew exactly why.
But that didn’t make it right.
π The Call That Changed Everything
Larry stood up and pulled out his phone.
“I’m calling her,” he said.
He dialed Bethany’s number.
She answered.
“Hello.”
“Did you know they arrested her?” Larry asked immediately.
There was a pause.
“Yes,” Bethany said calmly.
Larry’s face changed instantly.
“You knew… and you let it happen?” he said, his voice rising.
“This is not something I control anymore, Larry. It’s a legal case now,” she replied.
Larry lost his patience.
“No. Don’t do that. Don’t act like this just happened. You started this. You filed the complaint,” he said.
Bethany’s tone stayed steady.
“I filed a complaint because documents were changed, money went missing, and I was lied to,” she said.
π₯ Larry Loses Control
Larry couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“This is jail, Bethany!” he shouted.
“You put someone in jail over a family issue!”
“It’s not just a family issue!” she fired back.
“It’s fraud, it’s documents, it’s legal matters!”
Larry ran his hand over his face in frustration.
“Listen to me carefully,” he said, his voice now cold and serious.
There was silence on the line.
Then Larry said the words that shocked even himself:
“Withdraw the case.”
Bethany didn’t respond.
So he said it again.
“Withdraw the case… or I’m done.”
A long silence followed.
π³ The Ultimatum
“You’re giving me an ultimatum?” Bethany asked quietly.
Larry didn’t hesitate.
“Yes,” he said.
“Because this has gone too far. This is not who we are. This is not what family does.”
Bethany’s voice became emotional for the first time.
“Family doesn’t lie, Larry,” she said.
“Family doesn’t change documents behind your back.”
Larry clenched his jaw.
“And family doesn’t send each other to jail either,” he replied.
Another silence.
Heavy.
Painful.
π The Breaking Point
Bethany finally spoke.
“You think this is easy for me?” she said.
“You think I wanted any of this? I tried to talk. I tried to ask questions. No one told me the truth. Now the truth is coming out, and suddenly I’m the villain?”
Larry closed his eyes.
“This is not about being a villain,” he said quietly.
“This is about what you’re willing to destroy to prove a point.”
Bethany didn’t respond immediately.
Then she said something that cut deep:
“Maybe everything needed to break… so the truth could finally come out.”
Larry shook his head slowly.
“No,” he said.
“Some things break… and they never come back.”
π§ After the Call
The call ended.
Larry stood there in silence while Jaden looked at him, waiting.
“What did she say?” Jaden asked.
Larry looked at him and said slowly:
“She’s not backing down.”
Jaden sat down and stared at the floor.
“So what happens now?” he asked.
Larry looked around the room and said quietly:
“Now… this isn’t just a family problem anymore. This is court, lawyers… and consequences.”
Then after a pause, he added:
“And if she doesn’t withdraw that case… this marriage is over.”
⚖️ The Night Everything Changed Forever
That night, nothing got resolved.
No one got peace.
Jaden was left worried about his mother in jail.
Larry was left angry and heartbroken.
Bethany was standing firm, believing she was right.
And the truth?
The truth was this:
That one decision… that one complaint…
had now turned love into legal war,
family into enemies,
and a marriage into a breaking point that might never recover. ππ±
