WHEN SUNNY PUT HANDS ON DOMINI — AND MIKE STEPPED IN TOO LATE 😱
The argument didn’t start loud.
That was the scariest part.
It started with looks.
With silence.
With Domini staring at her phone as if the screen had just accused someone out loud.
Sunny sat on the edge of the couch, arms crossed, pretending she wasn’t watching Domini’s every move. Mike stood near the doorway, already uncomfortable, already wishing he wasn’t stuck between two people he cared about.
“What is that?” Sunny asked finally, her tone casual—but sharp enough to cut.
Domini didn’t answer right away. She read the message again. And again. Her fingers trembled slightly.
“You wanna tell me why your name is in these messages?” Domini asked, holding up the phone. “Why are people saying you set me up?”
Sunny laughed. A short, fake laugh. “You believe everything you read now?”
“I believe patterns,” Domini replied. “And I believe I’ve been protecting you while you let me take the blame.”
Mike stepped forward. “Hey, let’s slow this down—”
“No,” Domini said firmly. “I’ve slowed down my whole life for her.”
Sunny jumped to her feet. “You always do this! You act innocent and make me the villain.”
“I didn’t make you anything,” Domini said. “You did that yourself.”
The room felt smaller. Hotter. Like the walls were leaning in.
Sunny’s face changed. The color drained, then rushed back in waves. Her breathing became uneven. Her hands clenched so tight her nails dug into her palms.
“You think you’re so strong now?” Sunny said through gritted teeth. “You think because Mike’s standing there you can talk to me any way you want?”
Domini looked straight at Mike, then back at Sunny. “I’m not scared of you anymore.”
That sentence snapped something inside Sunny.
Before Mike could react, Sunny closed the distance between them and shoved Domini hard in the chest. The force sent Domini stumbling backward into the counter, her phone clattering to the floor.
The sound echoed.
Mike shouted, “SUNNY!”
Domini gasped, grabbing the counter to keep herself upright. “What is WRONG with you?!”
Sunny didn’t stop.
She raised her hand again—anger fully in control now, logic completely gone.
Mike lunged forward and grabbed Sunny’s arm mid-swing. “NO! This ends NOW!”
Sunny thrashed against him. “LET ME GO! She disrespected me!”
“She told the truth!” Mike yelled back, struggling to hold her. “You’re losing control!”
Domini’s eyes filled with tears, not just from pain, but from the realization that this had been building for years. Every insult. Every manipulation. Every time Sunny crossed a line and laughed it off.
“You put your hands on me,” Domini said, her voice shaking but strong. “That’s something you can’t undo.”
Sunny froze.
For the first time, she really looked at Domini. Not as competition. Not as an enemy. But as someone she had just hurt—physically and emotionally.
Mike released Sunny slowly, keeping himself between them. “You need to step back,” he said. “Right now.”
Sunny backed away, shaking, her anger collapsing into chaos. “I didn’t mean to go that far…”
“But you did,” Domini replied. “And now everyone sees who you really are.”
Silence filled the room.
Heavy. Suffocating.
Mike turned to Domini. “Are you okay?”
Domini nodded, though her heart was pounding. “I will be. Just not here.”
She picked up her phone, hands still trembling, and walked toward the door.
Sunny whispered, “Domini… wait.”
Domini stopped—but didn’t turn around. “That was your last chance.”
The door closed behind her.
Mike stayed behind with Sunny, staring at the space Domini had just left, knowing something permanent had just broken.
This wasn’t just a fight.
It was the moment everything fell apart.
And what none of them knew yet…
Was that this night would come back to haunt them in ways they never imagined. 😱💔
