BREAKING 🚨
The L.A. trip was supposed to be a reset — sun, shopping, vibes, and no drama.
But on the second night, everything changed.

Shayla had been noticing small things for weeks:
Delicia and Iman going off to talk alone… conversations that stopped the moment she walked in… random late-night texts followed by “Oh, it’s nothing.”

But she ignored the signs.
Until the truth walked right into her.

That night, the girls were getting ready for a rooftop event. Shayla left her lip gloss in the rental car and went downstairs alone to grab it. As she walked through the lobby, she spotted Delicia and Iman outside near the valet — whispering, arguing, and clearly hiding something.

Shayla paused behind a pillar, listening.

Iman’s voice was tight.
“We should’ve told her before we came. It’s too late now.”

Delicia shook her head quickly.
“No. If she finds out, everything blows up. She’ll never forgive us.”

Before Shayla could process it, a phone buzzed in Delicia’s hand. A name flashed across the screen — and Shayla felt her stomach flip.

HER ex.
The same ex who cheated on her.
The same ex Delicia promised she blocked.
And the same ex Iman swore she never spoke to.

Shayla stepped out from behind the pillar.

“Funny,” she said, her voice calm but shaking, “because it looks like the two of you have been talking to someone I’m supposed to be DONE with.”

Delicia froze.
Iman’s eyes widened.
Both looked guilty — too guilty.

Shayla crossed her arms.

“So tell me. What’s the secret?”

Neither spoke.

Delicia looked at Iman.
Iman looked at the ground.

That silence hurt worse than the truth she didn’t even know yet.

“Say something,” Shayla demanded. “I want the truth. Right now.”

Iman finally whispered, “Shayla… it’s not what you think.”

But Shayla laughed — the kind of laugh that comes right before the tears.

“Then tell me what it IS.”

The air went cold.
The night stopped moving.
And in that moment, Shayla realized the betrayal might be deeper than she ever imagined.

Because some secrets don’t just ruin trips…
they end friendships.
