Larry rushed in, panicked.
“Bethany?! What’s happening?”
Bethany bent over, shaking.
“I—I can’t breathe… my stomach… it hurts bad…”
That’s when she collapsed to her knees.
Larry didn’t waste a second.
He picked her up and rushed her to the car.

Bethany groaned in the seat, sweating, trembling.
Larry kept shouting,

“STOP pretending you care! This is YOUR chaos stressing her out!”
Sharra froze, hurt.

Larry stood.
“What’s happening to her?”
The doctor sighed deeply.

Sharra covered her mouth.

Larry grabbed her shoulders.
“What is it?!”
Brooke whispered,
“Bethany wants to tell you herself.”
The room went silent.
