Okay… okay, we can do this. Mommy just needs him to listen.

She knocks. Anthony opens the door slowly, eyes tired.

Anthony:

Shayla:
Anthony, please. Just—just let me talk. Please don’t close the door.

Anthony (sighs):

Shayla steps closer, clutching baby Kai.
