AW...Shyla not just styling his suit… she’s trying to redesign his entire life 😱

“New Era, New Rules”

1. Measuring the Moment

He glanced down at the measuring tape in his hand, scribbling numbers onto a small notebook.
“Yeah, I really needed to jot down these measurements. Is there not right here?” His voice carried a mix of focus and curiosity, scanning the surroundings.

“Oh, okay, I found it… oh, sorry. Behind you,” she replied softly, a small laugh escaping as she handed it over. “Okay, babe. You’re looking good.”

A smile crept across his face. “I’m excited.”

2. A New Era

“I’m excited for you,” she said, stepping closer, eyes bright with admiration.
“I love this new era you’re coming into. I feel like… just a much more refined man is on the way.”

“Yeah,” he murmured, straightening his posture instinctively. “Feels like I gotta stand straight up.”

“Is that how you do it… and start like breathing cool?” she asked, tilting her head.

“Yeah,” he confirmed.

3. Lifestyle vs. Look

She hesitated for a moment, then said,
“So, since you’re becoming more of a classic man, have you thought about maybe… changing your lifestyle a little to match your new look? You know, I feel like you’re coming from an era of… like, ball player, very cool, down-to-earth, boy-next-door… and now you’re becoming more of a suit-and-tie sports anchor. Something a little more serious.”

He paused, frowning. “What’s that got to do with my lifestyle? That’s just clothes.”

“I get it,” she said gently, “but I don’t know… I guess just… like, getting lit, drinking… you know, you’re becoming a new man.”

4. Grounded in Faith

He shook his head, almost chuckling.
“Yeah, I get the alcohol thing… going out. I’m too old for that anyway. But, you know… the earth and nature—that’s free, sent from God. You can’t disconnect me from God just because of a suit.”

5. Elevating Energy

She took a breath, trying to explain.
“But, Delicia… do you hear what I’m saying? Like, people on set… a lot of them smoke, drink. It’s kind of the norm in the industry. As long as you don’t go on set reeking of marijuana or anything… I just felt like the more elevated look comes with an elevated lifestyle. You’re grounded, clear in the mind, your energy… your brand… it’s undeniable.”

6. Teamwork and Creativity

“I don’t know,” he said softly, his voice carrying vulnerability.
“I’m just trying to be an asset to you, babe.”

“I know you’re used to creative women,” she said, leaning in.
“And I’m not saying I’m on that level, but I’m creative too. And I’m putting you on to the best stylist, Delicia. Period.”

“Oh… you put me on?” he asked, surprised, a smile tugging at his lips.

“I put… I mean, you put me on—I put you on. I have something to add to the team too.”

7. Support vs. Control

“But… you put me on,” he repeated, laughing lightly, shaking his head.

“You think that’s funny, babe?” she said, half-smiling.
“I’m just saying… I’m here to look out for you.”

He exhaled, a mix of contemplation and admiration crossing his face.
“I guess… I could consider what you’re saying. You know what I mean?”

8. Quiet Understanding

There was a quiet moment, just the soft hum of the room surrounding them. Both of them understood the delicate balance of support, boundaries, and love—a tension between guiding and controlling, between change and staying true to oneself.
