AW...Iman Left Me…” — Shayla’s Heartbreaking Confession to Angelina 😨

💔 When a Mother Realizes Her Daughter’s Heart Is Breaking

1. A Light Moment Turns Serious

Shayla was getting ready to go out when she tried to lighten the mood by joking on the phone. “Goodbye, crazy… no, bye-bye!” she laughed as she hung up on her dramatic aunt.
But as soon as she turned around, her mother immediately sensed something was off.

“Is that what you’re wearing? I thought you’d look a little more fabulous today,” her mom teased. But Shayla didn’t respond. Her eyes looked tired, sad… defeated.

“This is all I had. I’m ready,” she whispered.

2. A Mother Sees the Pain

Her mother paused, confused. “Wait—what do you mean that’s all you had?”
Then she noticed the tears forming.

“Why are you crying? Did Anthony say something crazy? Was it Amber? Honey, what happened?”

Shayla’s voice cracked.
“Your mom… your mom broke up with me.”

Her mother froze. “Why? Why? Oh, baby, I’m so sorry.”

3. Shayla Finally Shares the Truth

Through tears, Shayla explained, “He said he doesn’t want to change who he is. I only asked him to stop getting lit around the house. Kai’s clothes are starting to smell like it. And he thinks I’m tripping.”

She wiped her face.
“After we talked, he acted like everything was fine. Then out of nowhere he said, ‘It’s over.’ After everything we’ve been through… I know it wasn’t a long relationship, but I felt like Iman was the one.”

4. A Mother’s Wisdom

Her mom gently held her hands.
“Honey, thank you for sharing that. I know it wasn’t easy. But listen—this isn’t happening to you. You’re learning who’s for you and who isn’t. No one escapes these lessons.”

She continued, “If your lifestyles don’t match—and he thinks it’s okay to smoke around my grandson while you don’t—of course there’s going to be conflict.”

Shayla tried to explain, “He wasn’t smoking around him. The house just smelled like it. It was only one disagreement. Why would he end everything? He said he loved me. He bought me a house. I love him, Mom.”

5. The Hardest Lesson of All

Her mom sighed softly.
“Sweetheart, you gave your whole heart to a mortal person. But your heart belongs first to God. People are imperfect. They will hurt us, sometimes without even realizing it.”

She continued, “You cannot give 100% of your heart to any man. Keep something for yourself. Men are not built to handle the full heart of a woman.”

Shayla whispered, “I want him back… this can’t be the end.”

Her mom gave a sad smile. “I wanted your father back once too. Life teaches us in its own time.”

6. Healing Starts Today

She stood up. “Now come on. We’re going to eat. We’re not sitting here drowning in sadness.”

She stretched her sore legs. “Today is my cheat day. My butt hurts, my legs hurt, and I’m eating all the cheese I want. So let’s go heal a little.”
