😱 “Stay Away, Brooke!” — Bethany Convinces Brooke Not to Go to New Orleans With Larry

The tension had been brewing for weeks. Larry was packing, eager for his escape to New Orleans. But what shocked everyone was the rumor — he wasn’t planning to go alone. Brooke, of all people, was set to join him.

Bethany found out through a late-night phone call from a mutual friend. Her heart dropped. She could deal with Larry running off, but the thought of him leaving with Brooke? That was betrayal on a whole other level.

The Confrontation

Bethany stormed over to Brooke’s apartment the next morning, still in her robe, hair tied up, face pale from a sleepless night. Brooke was on the couch with her travel bag already packed, scrolling through her phone.

Bethany’s voice cracked as she blurted out, “Brooke, don’t do this. Don’t you dare go to New Orleans with him.”

Brooke looked up, startled. She tried to play it cool, smirking. “Why shouldn’t I? Larry invited me. He said he needs me right now, and I’m not about to turn him down.”

Bethany’s chest heaved with anger, but there was something deeper than rage in her voice. “Brooke, you think this trip means he loves you? No. It means he’s running from me, from his responsibilities, from the truth. Don’t let him use you as an escape.”

Bethany’s Emotional Plea

Brooke crossed her arms, clearly unmoved — until Bethany’s voice broke.

“He doesn’t love you, Brooke. He’s confused, angry, and scared. And the moment you get to New Orleans, he’ll realize you’re just a distraction. He’ll break your heart the same way he’s breaking mine.”

Brooke’s smirk faded. Bethany’s eyes were swollen, her face trembling with raw emotion.

“I know you care about him, but deep down, you know this isn’t right. Don’t let him drag you into his chaos. You’ll only end up hurt.”

Brooke Hesitates

For the first time, Brooke looked unsure. She sat back on the couch, chewing her lip. “Bethany… you don’t get it. Larry said he wants to start fresh. He told me things about you — about your lies.”

Bethany swallowed hard, tears spilling. “I know. I messed up. I won’t deny it. But Brooke… if you love him like you say you do, then don’t let him destroy himself like this. Don’t let him throw everything away.”

The room fell silent. Brooke glanced at her suitcase, then back at Bethany, who was practically pleading on her knees.

The Twist

Finally, Brooke sighed, closing her phone. “You’re right. This trip… it won’t fix anything. I’m not going.”

Bethany gasped in relief, covering her mouth with trembling hands. But then Brooke added coldly:
“But Bethany… don’t think this makes you the winner. Larry is slipping away from you, and nothing you do will stop it.”

Bethany froze, her victory bittersweet. Brooke wasn’t going to New Orleans — but Larry might still go alone.

The Cliffhanger

As Bethany walked out of Brooke’s apartment, she whispered to herself:
“Now I just have to stop Larry…”

But the question was — would she make it in time before he left for good?
