Anthony Betrayed?! Shayla Confronts Anthony’s Lawyer With a Secret! 😱

The late afternoon sun was sliding down the horizon when Shayla pulled up in front of the sleek, glass-fronted law office of Martin & Price LLP. Her heels clicked hard against the marble lobby floor, each step charged with the storm brewing inside her. She wasn’t here for small talk. She was here to blow everything up.

She had been sitting on this secret for days, debating whether to confront Anthony directly or to go for the jugular. In the end, she decided—why confront the man, when you can confront the man’s lawyer? After all, Anthony’s attorney, Richard Martin, knew everything about his money, his contracts, and his dirt.

The Build-Up

Shayla had stumbled upon the secret almost by accident. She was going through some old emails on Anthony’s shared tablet—nothing shady, she told herself at the time—when she found encrypted PDF files in a folder labeled “Property Transfers.”

With a little digging (and a borrowed password from someone in Anthony’s inner circle), she discovered Anthony had quietly moved a huge chunk of assets into a private trust under a different name. Not just that—he had transferred the deed to a waterfront condo to someone else entirely. And that someone… wasn’t her.

Shayla suspected the worst. Was Anthony preparing for a breakup? Was he hiding assets to keep them out of her hands? Or was this part of a bigger scheme involving another woman?

The Confrontation

When Shayla entered Richard Martin’s office, he looked up from his desk, visibly surprised. “Shayla… this is unexpected. Does Anthony know you’re here?”

She crossed her arms. “No. And you’re not going to tell him until I say so.”

Richard frowned. “I can’t discuss Anthony’s legal matters without his permission.”

“Oh, I think you’re going to want to hear what I have to say,” Shayla shot back, sliding a printed document across the desk.

Richard glanced at it. His expression didn’t give much away, but his eyes narrowed slightly. “Where did you get this?”

“Doesn’t matter. What matters is I know Anthony transferred assets into a trust—and I know whose name is on that trust.” She leaned forward, her voice sharp as a blade. “If Anthony thinks he can erase me from the picture, he’s dead wrong.”

The Lawyer’s Dilemma

Richard took a deep breath, setting the paper down. “Shayla, if you’re implying that Anthony has been moving assets to avoid… obligations… I can’t confirm or deny that.”

Shayla smirked. “You just did. Your face told me everything.”

Richard tried to regain control. “You should be careful with accusations. What exactly are you planning to do with this information?”

Shayla’s eyes glittered. “That depends. Anthony can either come clean to me—or I can make this public. And trust me, the court of public opinion moves a lot faster than the legal one.”

The Fallout

Leaving the office, Shayla felt her heart pounding—not from fear, but from adrenaline. She had turned the tables. Now Anthony’s lawyer was in the uncomfortable position of deciding whether to warn his client or to try to smooth things over.

By nightfall, Anthony had already left her three missed calls and a single, ominous text:

“We need to talk. Now.”

Shayla looked at the screen, smiled to herself, and poured a glass of wine.

The game had officially changed—and this time, she held the cards.
